As you can see, it was not nearly as big a priority as seeing all the amazing nature. Everyone is very accommodating. Mostly, we didn't worry too much and just ate what appeared to be vegan. We ate a lot of guacamole. in Manuel Antonio, across from the beach there is a place we went more then once called El Mason Restaurante. Good guacamole, and amazing lemonade. Manuel Antonio is not very big and the food options are limited. Quepos is much better for food and local activities. In Quepos we enjoyed a farmers market. Walk towards the beach. I do not know what days of the week it is there, but google may be able to help. We got to try many varieties of local fruits. I didn't include that picture here, but one night we had lychee, bananas, coconut, nuts, avocados and chips for dinner! it was fantastic! I would just bring bars like clif bars and trail mixes so if you ever find yourself stuck somewhere and hungry, you won't have to worry! Can you recommend any vegan friendly restaurants in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area? Great blog, btw.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8445625708753177811.post-25411513842362677472010-09-14T16:23:58.274-04:002010-09-14T16:23:58.274-04:00Well said Molly! Sometimes people are better off staying away from the overly touristed sites. Great pics!Lizhttp://www.yourtimetravels.com/blognoreply@blogger.com
